Images above are the first stages the mixtures being made and poured onto the torso as you can see the mixture when made is a bright pink colour, once it is smothered on to the torso you have to quickly mould the mixture into place, as the drys up very fast and turns white.
This second image above is after the mixture had been applied onto the torso where it quickly hardens and forms its shape as you can see from above, the harden torso then gets dipped into Wax and left to dry it then gets put in a freezer to cool down, it then gets dipped into a white mixture i dont know the name of this as i need to ask Chloe what this mixture was called however i think it may have been a special grain where once the torson is dipped it thickens the layer of the torso.
Over the weeks i have been taking series of photographs documenting the process of how a torso is made, which Chloe Art student whom i am doing this collabaration with has allowed me to work with her. These photos have been taken with a Canon D500 however proberly 5 to 10 photos have been shot in JPEG, and the rest are in RAW however the jpeg images i'll proberly just use them for exeperimental pieces as i took a lot of photos from the same angle so that i could experiment with them in the styles of posters these experimental posters shall be up soon. however i shall also be doing developments in terms of book making because when i spoke to Rosie she thought this will be an interesting idea, these book experiments will be up soon. Once i have done these experimenst i can see which style ill be more effective.
