DESCRIPTION: (You should describe in detail here the work you intend to undertake in fulfilment of the module’s Aims and Learning Outcomes. In doing this you will need to make reference to the module descriptor in the Programme Handbook)
This project will be a short time lapse/ sped up video, of traveling to and from Farnham- Hertfordshire and back. Letting the surroundings and environment tell the journey. For this I will be using a range of production, and post-production techniques. I will develop my skills in research and project planning. I will be using LO1, LO4 from the unit handbook but hopefully by the end of this unit have will completed all of the learning outcomes.
RESEARCH: Academic reference material, sources and contextual materials
Need camera for filming. Be looking at online tutorials for editing, be using Premiere Pro, maybe After Effects for colour grading and effects. Artists that we looked at during our seminars and lectures relating to maps and journeys, GPS and geo caching.   Library- using materials we’ve been shown as references.

WORK PLAN/TIMETABLE: Wednesdays be used for planning and researching. Be using weekends for developing idea practicing how to shoot it going to and from work. Until I know how to shoot it. Weekdays where possible days we have off use them as research and development Booking tutorials for further development.

Chosen Idea Improved 

having had feedback from the last tutorial i thought about the idea and decided not to include the concept of drawing and sketching personal people as i had done that in my previous projects and it was more taking a step back. so decided to keep it simple and effective and do a short video of my journey to and from farnham and hertfordshire letting the enviroment and surroundings tell the journey by using effective techniques in post to make this video aesthestically pleasing and different.

Use of Text 

this is one of the examples i wanted to use to show what i meant by the use of text at the start of this clip you see the indian ocean text come on the bottom right side of the screen i wanted to use this use of text in my video at key points, but to make it different il have the text appear letter by letter rather then appear whole like normal texts tend to do which is rather dull i wanna keep this different and out of the box.

Fast Paced

using this as an example of how the video will look like interms of the fast pace i will do various try outs and experiments to achieve ths look if not a little less slower.  

Effects wise 

in this video you see the green symbols i.e the cicular and rectangular hovering green lines i wanted use this idea and the general style of this clip as part my project to make more interesting and have this as tile piece overlayed just before the video finishes to give that feel of tracking and GPS etc and would have this a two screen piece but not sure yet still need to think about it.
