Innovation & Interference 

After the project approval on the 23rd October, Thursday,  I was told to come up with a meaning behind my idea rather then just it being a video, having thought about it a lot I still couldn't come up with a meaning, so really thinking about it, I had another idea which came to mind and that was to use art i.e. an installation piece involving sculpture.

NEW IDEA FINAL

So i thought about sculpture and how this would be related to maps and journeys, so the idea that came to mind was this, I would explore the journey of a how a sculpture is made and how after a sculpture is made its gone to be used in films, being put up in exhibitions for people to look at. so the way i would do this is having spoke to the fine art department with their help I would make a sculpture of a body still need to think about weather to use my own body or someone's else or a mannequin, i would take a series of photos of the sculpture being made and these photos will document the process and journey of a sculpture being created, after this is made I will then use these photos, put them into series of posters and these posters will be in the style of new science magazines covers inspired, the reason the posters will be in this style is to represent how sculptures after being made their journeys continue on in films or gallery's that is why the style will be the style that i have chosen within these series it the final poster this style will be different because it will be in the style of an actual film type poster however this last one will be different because I will use the actual sculpture within this poster and this will be done by the sculpture being hung or maybe placed over the poster as these posters will projected on to the wall.

For this new revised idea I intend to do an installation piece and will be undertaking A3  of the unit descriptor and will develop my technical, creative and aesthetic possibilities of my chosen medium and will research and develop skills in project planning A4 of the unit descriptor
