Maps and Journey: Expecting the unexpected

Friday 21st November 2014

When doing the bronzing the final stage of the sculpture before finishing, where it gets dipped in to hot furnace heat a disaster happened and the Torso/ sculpture shattered due to the sculpture's mould being too thin.

However when I spoke to Rosie about this she said someting that made me see how this shattered torso being the way it has turned out with a massive hole in the centre, makes this journey even more interesting bacause you never know where your journey will take you or how it will end up.
becauses not even I thought this will happen nor did Chloe think this would happen so having this unexpected turnout of a battered sculpture makes this project more exciting then it already is because your journey dosent always turn out the way you want it, it does in some cases and others it doesnt mine is one of them.
